Many b/w photographs, three tipped in watercolour plates by the author. This was the first book written in Australia to focus on flyfishing for trout. It is a happy mixture of fishing stories, tips, poetry, fly patterns, anecdotes, fine descriptive writing and some early history of the sport in Australia.     Includes chapters on saltwater fishing and Australian native freshwater fish but is mainly about trout fishing in New South Wales. The original is one of the most sought after angling  books  in Australia. -Mint
