Mike Stevens Publishing Launceston 1998.  8vo Illust 111p. Soft Cover. Roy Dean fished the Shannon Rise with Dick Wigram and Peter Wallace from 1936 to when it finished in 1964. The rise was a fish feeding frenzy caused by the huge hatches of the Asmicridea Grisea, the snowflake caddis over a half mile stretch of river. The memories  involving incidents on the stream and in the accomodation and of the characters who were attracted to the "Rise". – Fine
